Balloon sinus dilation (also called balloon sinuplasty) is a technique to open the sinuses without a surgical procedure.

The procedure is a safe and effective alternative to traditional endoscopic sinus surgery. It can often be performed in the office with no general anesthesia. The patient usually goes home in about an hour and can often resume normal daily activities the next day.
